Veins of steel

Heart of gold

Someone so full

No jar can hold

So now you flood

With my blood

Color your scarf red

Everything in your path dead

Veins of steel

Heart of gold

Sculpture of earth

No man can remold

Yet you carve, press

Burn, melt

Me till I'm spotless

A sight so flawless

In vain in pain

Wet campfire in rain

Veins of steel

Heart of gold

How I failed to see

You are just ore.
